One of Project Pueblo’s philosophies is to “Think Global and Act Local.” We realize that not everyone who is a member of Project Pueblo can make it to the Navajo reservation for our service trips, so we have partnered with local non-profit organizations to help out in whatever way that we can.
Another one of Project Pueblo’s aims is to is to establish a movement of service-driven young people who are passionate about changing the world by inspiring action, raising awareness, and having fun in the process--because doing good shouldn't be a chore. Our goal is to find quality, fun, volunteering events in the local community so that you and your friends can be actively engaged in becoming agents of change in your local community.
We have worked hard to find opportunities that reflect the overall mission of Project Pueblo and we strive to make these opportunities as simple and fun as possible for you and friends to get together to make a difference.
In addition to providing opportunities for over 75 people to go on weeklong service trips to the Navajo Nation, Project Pueblo has coordinated over 1000 total local volunteer hours through its partner organizations since 2008. With your help, we’d like to triple that number by the end of 2010.
